Ep. 33 Dysfuctional Family and Your Edges

This week’s episode I speak with my guest therapist Nedra Glover Tawwab, LCSW of Kaleidoscope Counseling about how to deal with Dysfunctional Family and Your Edges. With Easter just passing and possible other family gatherings how can you learn to appreciate the family that you are given and set boundaries with those family members?

Nedra Glover Tawwab, LCSW founder of Kaleidoscope Counseling is licensed as a clinical social work in North Carolina. She earned her Masters of Social Work from Wayne State University with additional training in working with couples. For 10 years, she has counseled people who want to improve their overall functioning.

Nedra founded Kaleidoscope Counseling in 2011 with the intention of providing individualized, empathic and eclectic care in an aesthetically pleasing environment. In the Charlotte, NC area, She is known for providing couples counseling and helping people with a variety of anxiety and depression related issues. Nedra helps couples recover from affairs, improve communication, co-parent and rekindle lost connection. In addition to relationship counseling, She enjoys working with people dealing with long-term patterns of dysfunction in their family, problems from childhood affecting relationships or work, parents managing life demands, managing transitions and traumatic issues such as abuse, neglect, and/or abandonment.
